How to check
your AP scores

Your AP scores are available through College Board. Use the same account you used for My AP, then check that your report includes every exam you took.

Official sources checked

  1. Start with your existing account

Before results arrive, check that you can sign in and that your email address is current. Use College Board’s account recovery options if needed. Creating another account can make matching older results harder.

  2. Open the official scores page

Go to College Board’s AP scores page and follow its sign-in link. Check that the year and exams on the report match your records.

  3. Save a personal copy

You can download your score report for your own records. That PDF is not the official score report colleges use for credit and placement; order an official send when a college requires one.

  4. Check the next step with your college

Look up the current credit policy for your exact AP subject and score. A score appearing in your account does not mean a college has received or processed it.

If a score is missing, choose the right path

A current-year result has not appeared

Some scores arrive later because of processing, later testing, or record matching. Watch for College Board’s email when another result is added. Its current guidance says to contact AP Services if a score has not arrived by August 15. Check the official delayed-score instructions for your situation.

An exam from an earlier year is missing

Check whether you used a different account in that year. Do not create another one. Follow College Board’s missing-exam guidance and contact AP Services to resolve account matching. Much older scores may need the archived-score process.

Your college says the report is missing

Look at your score-send history to confirm the intended institution. College Board making a report available and the college processing it are different steps. Ask the admissions or registrar’s office what it has received and what remains outstanding.

What this site can—and cannot—show

When AP Scores publishes public dates and planning guides. It cannot retrieve private results, accelerate a release, or resolve a College Board account. Your password belongs only on the official sign-in service.
